I spent years with photography as my hobby, and various "jobs" as my purpose.  I was an architectural designer, a financial coach, a records manager.  I have done lots of different kinds of work, and worked with lots of different kinds of people.

But one day I started thinking about my own business, and I asked my two sons what business to start....

They said miniature golf.

I said ok.  I knew nothing about how to start or operate a miniature golf course.  But I immediately knew the name....

A little weird, but fun.  So when I ditched the idea of owning a golf course and decided to turn my hobby into a business, the name just kind of stuck.

The one common thing with all of my previous career jobs is that I found myself drawn to the creative side of objectivity; how to get the right answer using more than a formula, a process or a rule.  It was in the order, the organized, the objective side of things where the creativity was most useful.  

And so it is with photography.

Creativity for creativity sake is fine, but I want to help others to achieve an objective outcome - more sales, better information.
